Once more we were honored to host our international partners for our annual workshop, "Sport and Peace". This year, five delegation answered to our invitation :

• Palestinians from Tulkarem and Jenin
• Italians from Turino
• Algerians from Constantine
• Tunisians from Beid Jala
• Irish from Armagh

  

  Délégations Vivicittà 2024

  The race for peace "Viviccità", organized in Saint-Ouen on March 31st, gave us the opportunity to invite our international partners to share an exclusive program with them :

• Evening event about the "enpowerment sport project in Palestine" with the mayor of Bobigny, Abdel Sadi, and the Palestinian ambassador in France, Hala Abou Hassira

• "Sport and Peace" workshop with Italian, Palestinian, Algerian, Tunisian, and Irish delegations
• Peace Olympiad with a diversity of participants (refugiees, youth in social and profesional insertion, sport coaches)

• Visit of Olympic Village and inauguration of Socrates street in Saint-Ouen with his brother RAI

Our productive time with the international delegation happened on Friday morning, March 29th.
You will find below the two questions we ask each other and the answer we build as a group :
How can we create more exchanges about sport and peace between our countries ?

• Invitation to the Gaelic Race
• Sharing our activities through social media
• Organizing a virtual event at the same time in our countries
• Organizing an event with traditional sport of each country
• Create youth exchanges
• Create a cultural festival (food, music, local products, traditional sports)

How can we create intercultural experiences to our sport participant like in the Viviccità Race ?

• Add a logo for peace to the t-shirt : Handshake with two hands colored in two flag colors from our countries
• Table to introduce the culture of each country at the end of the race
• Invite the media, share on social media

After this workshop, also shared the wish for all of us in participate together each year to races in each of our countries :

FSGT 93 will offer each of our organizations to work on an invitation protocol to make it happen.

Also, more than just work and sport, we had amazing human connections, and the good-byes were difficult. You will find below the thanking of delegations, which shows how valuable those times between our organizations are.
